Rooney ready for preseason

Wayne Rooney is reportedly more excited about the PCC preseason nets than the soccer world cup that he is currently involved in. Rooney stated that he managed to fit in extensive base fitness training in preparation for the 2010 / 11 season that included a light jog from Durban to Pietermaritzburg just before the soccer world cup. Rooney continued that the soccer world cup was boring in comparison to the preseason nets and that he was struggling to maintain focus.
